Robert Chamberland SR. – Founder

Robert (Bob) Chamberland Sr., is now retired and we thank him for his expertise and tireless effort in assisting clients through his many years at Chamberland Business Accounting.

The Chamberland Team will miss Bob very much and wish him the best in retirement. We leave his list of accomplishments and accreditations as a testament to all Bob has achieved in his practice.

Bob Chamberland began his career working as a staff accountant at Luigi T. Fiore, CPA from 1975-1976, where he then took a position as a staff accountant at Ward, Fisher, and Company, CPA. As a staff accountant, he completed audits and performed both personal and corporate income tax returns, as well as Bookkeeping, handling Non-Profit Organizations, Funding Reports & Budgeting. In 1980, Bob had moved up and on to the Northeast Pole Bldg. Co., Inc., where he took the position as Office Manager and carried out the duties of Cost Accounting, Pricing, Scheduling, and all internal financial reports and tax reports.

While working for other firms, Bob had envisioned starting his own Accounting Firm. He took out a small business loan and purchased a small building on Great Road in North Smithfield, RI, where he started offering his experiences and knowledge to local small businesses. After a couple of years, he was able to grow his business enough to expand his practice. He built on to his firm, adding more offices and staff. Today, the team offers a variety of services to over two thousand small businesses, professionals, and individuals.
